To the initiative of ABC Communication and the Moto Club Lozérien, the Grand Prix AMV of France of next October 1st and 2nd will be the theater of a novel and very original rally of old glories of the World Enduro!

“I had this idea for years in my head…” has entrusted Alain BLANCHARD “… but the tones of work can’t always permit to implement some projects. However, with the help of the Moto Club Lozérien and of Jean Pierre DOUMERGUE we have decided to move to action this year in opening of the Grand Prix AMV of France by proposing this showdown of fifteen formers World Champion of the 80’s and 90’s. We will make them ride on the KTM Super Test of Friday evening and most of those old riders contacted were agreeing with enthusiasm of this motorized reunion!”

MURAGLIA/BOISSONADE… RINALDI vs. BERNARD?

Already Thierry CHARBONNIER aka CARBI (European Champion in 1988), Eric BERNARD (Vice World Champion in 2001), the locals Laurent CHARBONNEL (European Champion in 1989), Alain BOISSONADE… has already given their agreement for the French team. On the foreigner side, Petteri SILVAN (SF – 2 times World Champion), Thomas GUSTAVSSON (S – Husaberg), Tullio PELLEGRINELLI (Italy), Giovanni SALA (I – 5 times World Champion), Fabio FARIOLI (I – KTM) and Pier Franco MURAGLIA (I – Multiple times 80cc World Champion) have also confirmed their presence.
Others like Stefano PASSERI, Mario RINALDI, Franco GUALDI, Kari TIAINEN and Jordi ARCARONS can join them…

So, you will not have to miss the KTM Super Test of Friday 30th of September (17.00 – Hyper U parking place) where multiple formers World Champions will ride for an “Enduro Revival” which will conclude in apotheosis the 1st day of the Grand Prix AMV of France of Enduro.

GP of ANDORRA – Day 2: 2nd title for MEO

The very first Andorran Grand Prix has just come to a close and the principality has witnessed the crowning of Antoine MEO (FRA – HVA) in Enduro 2. In fact, the Frenchman, having won yesterday, only had to maintain the pace today. This is exactly what he achieved on his 310 HVA. Only one year after having become world champion in E1 he is now World champion in E2. « I am really very satisfied, I was very keen to win this title. I think that the difference was made in Italy, I managed to make good progress there and maintained it throughout. »

GP of ANDORRA – Day 1: SALMINEN will have to wait

Juha Salminen (FIN – HVA) has unwittingly thrown open the Enduro 1 category. In fact, the HVA rider was unfortunate in being victim of a mechanical failure from the second lap with the breakdown of his 250 HVA’s gearbox. He will therefore not have a podium finish in this Grand Prix and on top of that, he sees his major opponent of the Championship, Eero REMES (FIN – KTM) catch up with him. Despite all this, the seven times world champion keeps smiling and assures us that « if it is not this weekend, it will be for the final in France ».
