Morelia, Michoacán, México D.F. October 25, 2010 – The International Six Days of Enduro will take place during the week of November 1 -6 of this year in Morelia, Michoacan. Morelia will not only open its doors to the numerous pilot groups but also to the world press members who will share information about the details of the resistance race and the touristic surroundings Mexico has to offer.
The trucks that give shelter to the teams of different nations are already at the paddock. The outstanding brands are KTM and Husqvarna, which will support the official pilots of the various delegations, included Homero Dias (KTM) and Jose Luis Perez (Husqvarna) from the Mexican delegation.
368 pilots representing 28 countries have already been confirmed for the 2010 ISDE edition. The teams that stand out due to their participant numbers are those from Argentina with 21 participants, Germany with 23, United States with 32, France with 24, and Mexico with 101 pilots divided among the different cylinder capacities and categories.
The Latin-American representation will have a total of 9 countries with the best exponents in the specialty driving in Morelia, Michoacan. Nevertheless, only Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela and Mexico will have participants in the “World Trophy”. Venezuela, Argentina and the host country, Mexico are the ones with the greatest experience and the ones with pilots who have already obtained the gold in previous years.
Besides the already mentioned countries, we will have the presence of: Andorra, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Check Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Holland, New Zealand , Peru, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland. Those places in the world will be represented in each delegation.
On Saturday October 30, the banner carriers of each country will take part in a parade through the Historic Center of Morelia. With this event, we will give a symbolic start to the Enduro Olympics in Mexico.
